Columbia, SC – LRADAC, the designated alcohol and drug abuse authority for Lexington and Richland Counties, announces that Reese L. Palmer, M.A., LMFTS/C, has been named Vice President of Clinical Services. In this role, Palmer will provide strategic oversight of LRADAC’s clinical supervision, intervention, and treatment programs, lead multidisciplinary clinical teams, and advance the agency’s evidence-based approaches to behavioral health and substance use care.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in behavioral health and social services, Palmer has successfully led initiatives across the public, private, and academic sectors. A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, he has served as County Director for the Department of Social Services in Columbia, SC, and currently directs a private group practice. A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, he has also provided extensive clinical supervision and mentorship to clinicians across the state. Palmer is recognized for his focus on trauma-informed, culturally responsive care and expertise in evidence-based practices, including CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
