Yächtley Crëw, the World’s Premier Yacht Rock Cover Band, Sailing into the Icehouse Sept. 19 for Rock4Recovery 2025
Break out your sailing caps, puka shells, and boat shoes—Los Angeles–based Yächtley Crëw, the world’s premier yacht-rock tribute band, sails into the LRADAC Foundation’s 6th Annual Rock4Recovery concert, presented by Dominion Energy.
“Yacht rock” is that smooth, feel-good subgenre of ’70s and ’80s soft rock—think Christopher Cross’s “Sailing,” Toto’s “Africa,” Hall & Oates’ “Maneater,” Rupert Holmes’s “Escape (The Piña Colada Song)” and Little River Band’s “Reminiscing.” Since SiriusXM launched its dedicated Yacht Rock channel in 2015 and HBO dropped its 2024 documentary, the nostalgia wave has only grown—and Yächtley Crëw has ridden it coast-to-coast with silky grooves, slick dance moves and plenty of audience sing-alongs to hits by the Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, Toto and more.
Taking place on Friday, September 19, at the Icehouse Amphitheater in Lexington, Rock4Recovery has become a signature musical event in the Midlands. A substance-free concert, it aims to raise awareness about the power, hope, and healing that come with recovery from substance misuse. All proceeds from the concert support the programs and services of LRADAC, including assistance to individuals in financial distress, enabling them to participate in LRADAC’s treatment and recovery services for themselves and their families.
“Dominion Energy is proud to once again partner with LRADAC to shine a light of hope upon the darkness of addiction through Rock4Recovery at the Icehouse Amphitheatre in Lexington,” said Keller Kissam, president of Dominion Energy South Carolina. “We all face storms in life, and restoration and recovery require teamwork, patience and perseverance in the communities we are privileged to serve.”
