Assessment, Interviewing, Individual Plan of Care (IPOC) is a 2-day training occurring from August 7 – August 8.

Open to Addictions Counselors, Rehabilitation Counselors, Social Workers, and Other Health Care or Treatment Providers.

Objectives:

• Participants will learn the DAODAS UCR and EHR Guidelines for completing the clinical assessment & IPOC.

• Participants will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the flow between and the importance of the assessment process, interpreting the assessment information into a comprehensive interpretive summary and building an individualized treatment plan based on the client’s SNAP using the DAODAS EHR system.

• Participants will learn introductory information regarding ASAM and appropriate level of care treatment recommendations.

• Participants will review and understand the importance of helping diagnose substance use disorders based on the criteria listed under the DSM5.

• Participants will be able to differentiate between a problem statement, a goal and a measurable objective and understand how these three items are linked together when creating an IPOC.
