Group Dynamics Day 2

Group Dynamics is a 2-day training occurring on October 23 and October 24.
Open to Addictions Counselors, Rehabilitation Counselors, Supervisors working in Treatment settings, Social Workers, and Other Health Care or Treatment Providers.
Objectives:

Will understand the difference between group counseling and serial-individual counseling in a group setting

Will develop or enhance skills used to facilitate member-to-member interaction

Will develop or enhance skills used to identify interactions between group members that may reveal dynamics that have therapeutic implications

Will develop the ability to differentiate between leading and facilitating groups

Will develop an understanding of how stages in treatment impact group dynamics and improve interventions in each stage to match group members needs
