LRADAC Receives Four Working Well Platinum Awards from the South Carolina Hospital Association

Columbia, SC – LRADAC is recognized by Working Well for achieving the highest standards of excellence in the areas of Nutrition and Food Environment, Physical Activity, Tobacco-Free Workplace, and Financial Wellbeing.  Working Well was founded through the support of The Duke Endowment and is managed by the South Carolina Hospital Association. Working Well is an effort to improve population health across the state of South Carolina by establishing cultures of employee wellbeing where the healthy choice is the easy choice.

LRADAC is the designated alcohol abuse and drug abuse authority for Lexington and Richland Counties of South Carolina. The public, not-for-profit agency offers a wide array of prevention, intervention and treatment programs in locations convenient to residents of both counties. The agency has a budget of approximately $10 million and serves more than 5,000 clients per year.
