Pop Icon Taylor Dayne to Headline Rock 4 Recovery Concert Presented by Dominion Energy

June 6, 2023

Columbia, SC — With a career spanning three decades, 17 Top 20 singles and four chart-topping number one songs that include “Tell It To My Heart,” “Love Will Lead You Back,” and “I’ll Always Love You,” pop icon Taylor Dayne will headline the LRADAC Foundation’s fourth annual Rock 4 Recovery concert presented by Dominion Energy. Proceeds from this substance-free concert will help raise awareness about the power and healing of recovery from substance misuse and help support persons in financial distress to fully participate in recovery services for themselves and their families.

Taylor has sold over 75 million albums and singles worldwide, earned three Grammy nominations, an American Music Award, multiple New York Music Awards, received New York Music Hall of Fame honors, and ranked as the number 18 female dance artist of all time by Rolling Stone magazine. She is one of the few artists in musical history to successfully crossover into almost every musical genre and chart with hit singles in pop, dance, R&B, adult contemporary, and rock. Taylor’s international radio and record success, stage presence, and world tours combine her musical message of love and passion and bring it straight to the heart of her fans and audiences worldwide.

“With the generous support of our presenting sponsor Dominion Energy, we are thrilled to bring Taylor Dayne to Rock 4 Recovery,” said Leslie Maley, LRADAC Foundation Chair. “With such a high-profile act like Taylor, Rock 4 Recovery has grown into one of the Midlands’ most anticipated concerts—and one of the only events around that offer a substance-free and safe environment for live music lovers of all ages. In addition, because of the continued success of past concerts and other fundraising events, the LRADAC Foundation helps families and individuals enter recovery who could not do so on their own because of a lack of insurance or inability to pay. Each year, approximately 1000 families receive the treatment they need in part because of the money raised at our concert.”

“We are blessed to live and work in a place where friends, neighbors, and organizations like LRADAC are there for you when you need them most,” said Keller Kissam, president of Dominion Energy South Carolina. “This amazing event is a testament to the collective power of our community as we stand together to support the critical work they do for families across the Midlands.”

Rock 4 Recovery with Taylor Dayne will take place Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, from 6 – 10 p.m. at the Icehouse Amphitheater located at 107 W Main St, Lexington, SC 29072. A wide array of local food trucks will also be on-site for snacks, dinners, and desserts before and during the concert. Tickets for Rock 4 Recovery are $30 and will be available for sale on June 6 at rock4recovery23.eventbrite.com
