Columbia, SC – The LRADAC Foundation, the nonprofit support arm of LRADAC, is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Wayne Boutwell, Chief Executive Officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Columbia; Charity Garris, Director of Patient Experience for the University of South Carolina’s Neurological and Rehabilitation Hospital and Brain Health Network; and Dave Mathews, Vice President at Colliers.
The Foundation also proudly recognizes Laura Ledford of Open Door Personnel as the new Chair of the LRADAC Foundation Board of Directors.
“These leaders bring exceptional experience in healthcare, patient advocacy, and business leadership,” said Kim Koelsch, Executive Director of the LRADAC Foundation. “Their collective expertise strengthens our board at a critical time as we work to expand access to treatment and ensure that no one is denied the opportunity to recover because of financial hardship.”
Under Ledford’s leadership, the Foundation will continue to grow its fundraising initiatives and deepen community partnerships to support individuals and families seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
“I am honored to serve as Chair of the LRADAC Foundation Board,” said Ledford. “Every dollar we raise represents hope for someone who might otherwise go without treatment. I look forward to working alongside this dedicated board to strengthen recovery resources and make a lasting difference in our community.”
The LRADAC Foundation raises critical funds to support LRADAC's programs and services. Through community partnerships and signature fundraising events such as the annual Rock 4 Recovery concert, the Foundation helps ensure that financial hardship is never a barrier to recovery.
