LRADAC Foundation Receives $20,000 Gift from Central Carolina Community Foundation’s Anonymous “Cheerful Giver” to Support Access to Treatment for Alcohol and Substance Misuse
Columbia, S.C. — The LRADAC Foundation is honored to announce it has received an unrestricted $20,000 gift from an anonymous donor known as the Cheerful Giver. The gift was made through the Central Carolina Community Foundation and will directly support individuals and families seeking treatment for alcohol and substance misuse in the Midlands.
Thanks to the generosity of donors and partners, including the Central Carolina Community Foundation’s Cheerful Giver, the LRADAC Foundation helps support LRADAC’s programs and services, including financial assistance to individuals without insurance or facing economic hardship. This assistance helps patients cover the cost of assessments, treatment, and other essential services, empowering them to overcome obstacles, rebuild their lives, and move forward with hope.
“We are deeply grateful for this remarkable act of generosity,” said Kim Koelsch, Executive Director of the LRADAC Foundation. “This gift strengthens our ability to remove financial barriers to treatment and provide life-changing support for individuals and families affected by substance misuse. The Cheerful Giver’s commitment to our community is inspiring, and their kindness will make a meaningful difference in many lives.”
