Cost $60 Registration Fee. Lunch is on your own. Snacks are provided.
Student Rate: $25 (Please provide your student ID)
Credit (6.0) continuing education hours to be awarded for certified addictions counselors and LPCs

Attending Addictions Counselors, Rehabilitation Counselors, Supervisors, Social Workers, and Other Health Care or Treatment Providers, Administrative or Front-Line Staff having patient contact.
Objectives
  1. Participant will learn the basic principles of MI and be introduced to the philosophy and spirit of MI.
  2. Participant will learn the basic attitudes of TIC and develop a basic knowledge of what TIC means for treatment centers.
  3. Participant will identify how blending MI principles and TIC initiatives can increase client engagement in treatment.
