Part 1:  Polyvagal and Somatic Experience

Addictions Counselors, Rehabilitation Counselors, Supervisors working in Treatment settings, Social Workers, Other Health Care or Treatment Providers, Prevention Professionals

Objectives:

• Participants will gain a general understanding of Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Experiencing.     
• Participants will learn about the presentation of various nervous system states and connection to presenting symptoms in clients/patients.
• Participants will increase skills for application of nervous system mapping and resourcing needs.   
• Participants practice somatic experiencing of self and process application of interventions with clients/patients.
