Part 2:  Attachment Theory and Neurodevelopment

Addictions Counselors, Rehabilitation Counselors, Supervisors working in Treatment settings, Social Workers, Other Health Care or Treatment Providers, Prevention Professionals

Objectives:

• Participants will gain a general understanding of Attachment Theory and how themes from early development shape neurodevelopment.       
• Participants will learn about the presentation of attachment styles across developmental stages to include opportunities for change in attachment behaviors.
• Participants increase knowledge of impact of trauma on attachment.       
• Participants will increase skills for supporting clients/patients in developing sense of self within context of relationships.
