Interactive Workshop

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Class starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon.

LRADAC Education Center, 2711 Colonial Drive, Columbia, South Carolina

 $25 Registration Fee.  Snacks are provided.

This interactive workshop will explore emerging trends in alcohol and other substance use. Current information on youth alcohol and other substance use, to include synthetic drugs (i.e., K2 and “bath salts”), will be presented, along with providing an exhibit of these emerging products. Participants will analyze a variety of products and examine advertisers’ and social media’s role in marketing these products to youth.
