Job Duties
  • Provides group, individual and crisis intervention counseling services for HIV positive jail population to create a continuum of care of human service delivery programs available. 
  • Provides case consultation and case management services with the collaboration team to assure comprehensive quality care of a client including keeping statistics, progress reports and making referrals to other agencies. 
  • Participates in team meetings to discuss client progress and acute care through linkage agreements with other agencies. 
  • Provides relevant clinical documentation of services performed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human service field and experience performing the essential duties of the position are required. 
  • Master’s degree in the human service field and experience performing the essential duties of the position are preferred. 
  • Licensure and/or certification are highly desired. 
  • Must be certified by the SCAADAC or able to complete the certification process in the required timeframe.

Division Adolescent Outpatient, Lexington/Richland Treatment
Job Duties
  • Develops, maintains and reviews individualized treatment plans of clients engaged in treatment. 
  • Conducts clinical assessments to determine level of care, diagnosis and problem areas of adolescents for appropriateness and eligibility into treatment. 
  • Manages and monitors client progress, identifies client needs, and maintains all clinical records. 
  • Provides individual, family, IOP groups and crisis intervention counseling services for adolescents engaged in treatment services. 
  • Provides case consultation and case management services to assure comprehensive quality care of clients.  
  • Conducts Pre–certification and Utilization review for cases. 
  • Completes documentation within UR guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human service field and experience performing the essential functions of the position are required. 
  • Master’s degree in the human service field and experience performing the essential duties of the position are preferred. 
  • Licensure or certification is highly desired.

Director, Detoxification Unit

Job Title Director, Detoxification Unit
Salary $50,000-$59,000
Division Treatment and Intervention
Job Duties
  • Develops, implements, and executes plans for detoxification services in Lexington/Richland counties. 
  • Coordinates and directs day-to-day sub-acute medical detoxification services according to regulations and standards. 
  • Ensures compliance with interagency contracts and billing requirements, including pre-authorizations of services as needed. 
  • Reviews and monitors waiting lists to ensure utilization guideline for placement and compliance. 
  • Supervises, directs and achieves compliance with all detoxification unit staff. 
  • Serves as decision making authority for detoxification programs in the absence of the Vice President, including: all detoxification unit facility, plant and staffing personnel matters. 
  • Coordinates activities of the detoxification unit practitioners. 
  • Provides periodic and annual program input and qualitative reports to appropriate staff and Board. 
  • Actively participates in CQI process especially relating to health and safety issues. 
  • Monitors and ensures adherence to Infection Control Standards. 
  • Other duties as assigned.    
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree with three years of supervisory experience is required; or Bachelor’s degree with three years experience in inpatient addictions and three years of supervisory experience. 
  • Management experience in an addictions unit/facility is highly desired. 
  • Degree must be from an accredited institution recognized by the US Department of Education.

  • Monitors client status and reports changes when necessary. 
  • Assists physician and implements physician’s orders. 
  • Screens and refers clients to appropriate levels of care. 
  • Directs work of ancillary staff/coordinates client care during the shift. 
  • Performs pre-certifying and concurrent reviews for clients with third party payers.  
  • Other related duties as assigned. 
Qualifications
  • SC LPN licensure is required; one year of related experience in the substance abuse field is desired. 
  • Two years of related experience in the substance abuse field is preferred.
