Job Duties
  •  Interviews clients, reviews records, and confers with other agency personnel to assess client needs; presents options and services. 
  • Formulates a plan of care appropriate to the evaluation of the client/family consensus; reviews individual service plans as required. 
  • Case manages clients individually and in group sessions, and case manages family members to assist family in dealing with and providing support for client. 
  • Refers client to other support services as needed, and coordinates with other service providers. 
  • Serves as school liaison to assist in transitioning client back into school. 
  • Locates/secures job opportunities for Bridge community based clients. 
  • Provides pre-discharge planning for client prior to getting out of DJJ. 
  • Maintains client charts, treatment plans and other records. 
  • Provides on-call and crisis management activities as needed. 
  • Attends treatment team meetings and participates in regular clinical supervision.    
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human service field is required; one year of experience performing the essential duties of the position is desired. 
  • Experience with adolescents is preferred. 
  • Certification by the SCAADAC or able to complete the certification process in the required timeframe is also required.

Job Duties
  • Develops, implements, and executes plans for detoxification services in Lexington/Richland counties. 
  • Coordinates and directs day-to-day sub-acute medical detoxification services according to regulations and standards. 
  • Ensures compliance with interagency contacts and billing requirements, including pre-authorizations of services as needed. 
  • Reviews and monitors waiting lists to ensure utilization guideline for placement and compliance. 
  • Supervises, directs and achieves compliance with all detoxification unit staff. 
  • Serves as decision making authority for detoxification programs in the absence of the Vice President, including: all detoxification unit facility, plant and staffing personnel matters. 
  • Coordinates activities of the detoxification unit practitioners. 
  • Provides periodic and annual program input and qualitative reports to appropriate staff and Board. 
  • Actively participates in CQI process especially relating to health and safety issues. 
  • Monitors and ensures adherence to Infection Control Standards. 
  • Other duties as assigned.    
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with three years of supervisory experience is required; or BSN degree with three years experience in inpatient addictions. 
  • Nursing supervisory experience in the field of addictions is desired. 
  • Management experience in an addictions unit/facility is highly desired. 
  • Degree must be from an accredited institution recognized by the US Department of Education.

  • Provides understanding and kindness to clients by talking to them and encouraging their participation in the detoxification unit services. 
  • Escorts clients to and from meals and breaks, and maintains accountability of clients on the unit. 
  • Provides supportive type atmosphere through educational group interactions, and ensure group notes are in computer. 
  • Ensures that adequate numbers of charts are made, and adequate supplies are on unit at the end of shift.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • CNA licensure desired but not required.
