DOT Program

Department of Transportation (DOT) program is federally regulated and is designed to provide education and treatment services for employees in safety-sensitive position who have violated a DOT alcohol or drug policy.

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) - a person who operates a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) weighing 26,001 or greater, or transports more than 16 riders

All DOT referrals are assessed by a substance abuse professional, receive random alcohol and drug testing, and are referred to appropriate education and treatment services, all of which meet specific DOT requirements. Employers are notified of enrollment, progress and completion status - including a return-to-work evaluation
