The detoxification unit is located at our Richland campus (2711 Colonial Drive, Columbia).  No appointment is necessary.  A potential client may call us at (803) 726-9390 or walk in for an assessment.

What to Expect

If admitted, a technician facilitates an orientation and provides the client with a handbook. The client will then be seen by a nurse and the medical director.  A clinical counselor will manage the client's individualized plan of care and case management.

What to Bring if Admitted

  • Photo ID
  • Insurance Card Information
  • Clean Clothes (5-7 days)
  • Toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo (all liquid)
  • All medications currently taking
  • Five dollars in dollar bills or quarters
  • Shower shoes or flip flops
  • Calling card for long distance
