Community Resource Center

The Community Resource Center (CRC) is a lending library offering alcohol, tobacco and other drug information, parenting techniques, skills for building self-esteem, positive peer pressure, and other resources dealing with community prevention issues.

The center, located at 2711 Colonial Drive, has brochures, pamphlets, posters, videos, and other free materials for the public. Emphasizing a risk and protective factor approach to prevention programming, the CRC provides services which target a wide range of inter-related problems including alcohol and other drug abuse, HIV/AIDS, teen pregnancy, juvenile delinquency, violence reduction and community norms which support negative behaviors.

The center is able to provide current statistical data, up-to-date publications, and research through access to information on a nationwide computer network.

The Community Resource Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We suggest that you call in advance to make an appointment with our CRC staff.
